By accessing or using SmartScanner ("the website"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. What this service is

The website is a free, educational stock-screening and technical-analysis learning tool for Indian equities. It applies fixed arithmetic rules to publicly available market data and displays the result. It provides no advice — see the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms and which you should read in full.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.

3. Your account

• You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the security of that Google account.
• You are responsible for everything done through your session.
• Do not share your session, impersonate anyone, or try to access another user's data.
• Access may be suspended or removed at any time, without notice, particularly for misuse.

4. Your portfolio data

Portfolio entries you create are visible only to you. They are a record-keeping convenience, not a broking or demat facility: no order is ever placed, no money is ever handled, and nothing you enter here affects any real holding. Keep your own records — no guarantee is given that data will be preserved indefinitely.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download content, or place automated load on the service;
• attempt to breach, probe or circumvent authentication, authorisation or rate limits;
• redistribute, resell or republish the data or scores as your own product or as a tipping/advisory service;
• use the website for anything unlawful, or in breach of exchange or SEBI regulations;
• interfere with the service or with other users' use of it.

6. Intellectual property

The website's code, design and presentation belong to the operator. Underlying market data belongs to its respective owners, including the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE); it is used here for informational and educational purposes, and NSE and other exchanges do not endorse this website in any way.

7. Availability

The service is provided free and on a best-effort basis. It may be unavailable, delayed or discontinued at any time, without notice. No uptime is promised. Scheduled and unscheduled interruptions, data-source outages and maintenance are to be expected.

8. Advertising

The website is supported by third-party advertising. Advertisements are not endorsements, and the operator is not responsible for advertisers or their offerings. Any transaction with an advertiser is strictly between you and that advertiser.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

The website is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind — including trading or investment losses — arising out of your use of, or reliance on, the website. All investment decisions are yours alone.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the operator against claims, losses and expenses arising from your misuse of the website or your breach of these terms or of any applicable law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
